"You're in oil country"

Anytime the Edmonton Oilers win a playoff game, fans converge on Whyte Avenue to celebrate in an unruly fashion. A friend of mine witnessed last night's pandemonium first-hand and got these pictures:

I like the part a couple of minutes in where the girl bends down to light her cigarette from the bonfire. The tin foil Stanley Cup is nice too.

Just four more riots to go.
