My IA Summit preview

Next week I'll be in Vancouver at the IA Summit hosting a panel on Tagging and Beyond: Personal, Social and Collaborative Information Architecture. We'll be looking at everything from tagging to collaborative filtering as ways groups of people can organize information. On the panel will be Rashmi Sinha, Scott Golder, Mimi Yin and danah boyd. I think this will be a fun session. My panelists are--obviously--super-bright and we'll be taking a different look at tagging. (Rashmi helped me put this together. Thanks, Rashmi!)

I'll also be a participant on the Web 2.0 panel moderated by Adaptive Path's Brandon Schauer. Brandon's pulled together excellent panelists, including Dan Brown, Michael Migurski from Stamen and TechCrunch's Michael Arrington.
