Aside

Weakerthans' fans will be interested to know that their song "Aside," from Left and Leaving is featured on the Wedding Crashers soundtrack. An edited version--missing that great line "rely a bit too heavily on alcohol and irony"--plays during the closing credits.

In related news, The Weakerthans will be at the Edmonton Folk Festival this weekend. So I've decided to break my decade-long folk music boycott to see them on Friday night.

And Wedding Crashers itself is pretty good (significantly exceeding my expectations). This is largely due to the comedic genius of Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson's nose.
