Howard Rheingold on CBC

Howard Rheingold was on CBC's quite good current/cultural affairs show The Current this morning talking about flash mobs. The full segment is available online (RealAudio).

The interviews with the Toronto flash mobbers at the beginning of that segment were interesting in that they (the people interviewed) seemed mostly curious and not likely to engage in any absurd behaviour. Contrast that with today's Toys R Us flash mob in New York, which looked much more like culture jamming. Maybe the micro-protest is being born.
