26. The Silvertone

Great design, crappy soundQuite simply, the best garage sale find ever. Ever. Sure, you think you've found some gems, but chances are they pale compared to this.

It's a smoky bubble-top Silvertone turntable with two round speakers made by Sears in the 1960s, I think. I bought it from a guy down the alley for $5--that's five Canadian dollars--and he threw in Claude Denjean's Moog! (in "phase 4 stereo spectacular") for free.

Ah! Dope man, thats a really nice find that silverstone turntable seeing as they were really rare and sold for about 550 dollars US
