New media's baggage

It's interesting, isn't it, how characters created for print pick up some baggage as they're adapted for radio, television and film. Tarzan picked up the Johnny Weismuller yell. Sherlock Holmes got that funny duck-billed hat. Spider-man got theme music, and J. Jonah Jameson's "PAR-KER... go get me pictures of SPI-der Man!"
