"An adult male living alone," he wrote on April 9, "stops being a vaguely tragicomic bachelor once he is found in the circumstance of simultaneously taking a whiz and eating a sandwich." Which only makes me think of things I've done while take a whiz: reading (of course), eating, brushing teeth, thinking "what the hell is that guy doing?" while trying not to look and trying not to look like I'm not looking.
